Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) was an American actor. Her name has been praised for her TV and film performance since the 1980s. Her awards include two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett comes originally from New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. When Bassett was about five She and her sister moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to live with their mother who was divorced from their father. While in high school Bassett watched John Steinbeck's drama Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actor. In the year 1980, Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She earned a diploma from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they were married. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama conferred the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in the year. She attended the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
